I got the idea for this poem when I read a friend of mines loss of her beloved pet Hailey, it made me think, I hope you like it Doris.

Don't Let Go
How do you find a diamond,
In a pile of shattered glass,
You search long and hard,
You pay attention to detail,
You look for a glow,
You look for rays,
When you find her,
Her ways will blind you,
She will have your heart,
You'll know from the start,
Hard to find she will be,
The look might even be long,
So when you find her,
Treat her right,
Don't let go...
By the way, rays come from the inside of both diamonds and glass so...
